Kate Wall, the owner of Zuma Natural Foods, will speak Thursday night at the Mancos Public Library as part of the library’s “Businesses in Our Backyard” series.

Wall came to Montezuma County from Minnesota a few years ago, just for a visit. But she ended up buying the food store, and stuck around ever since.

Her presentation “Why Zuma? Faith, Hope and the People of Mancos” will begin at 7 p.m. at the library at 211 W. First St.
