Monday, Sept. 30

11:16 a.m. A house in the 17600 block of County Road 27 was surrounded by deputies after a man with outstanding warrants who was considered armed and dangerous was located. The man was arrested on five active warrants after being sprayed with a chemical. He was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center after being treated for the chemical spray by deputies.

5:18 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. on a remand. A man was arrested and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Tuesday, Oct. 1

5:45 p.m. A deputy was called to the 25300 block of County Road T.5 about a report of a trespasser. A homeowner reported a woman was standing on her private fence picking plums. When confronted, the woman pulled down her pants and yelled obscenities at the homeowner, then drove off in a late model truck. Deputies are looking for the woman and potential charges include second-degree trespass, aggravated robbery, second-degree assault, theft of less than $50, criminal mischief and harassment for obscene language and gesture.

Wednesday, Oct. 2

11:49 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 22700 block of County Road 15 about a report of a violation of a protection order. A report was made of violations of a protection order using Facebook Messenger. The alleged victim lives in California and could not be contacted. The deputy closed the case because of a lack of useful evidence.

5:44 p.m. A deputy was called about a report of a theft in the 7500 block of U.S. Highway 160. A woman reported theft of items from an old school bus that is used for storage. Told items include $18,000 worth of guitars and jewelry boxes. An officer filed a report about the thefts.

7:50 p.m. A deputy was called to a disturbance in the 13000 block of Colorado Highway 145. A man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear and was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Thursday, Oct. 3

9 a.m. A deputy served an active warrant to a female inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 739 E. Driscoll St.

9:11 a.m. A deputy served an active warrant to a male inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 739 E. Driscoll St.

1:16 p.m. A deputy served an active warrant to a male inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 739 E. Driscoll St.

2:56 p.m. A deputy served an active warrant to a woman in the 24400 block of County Road G.1. The deputy discovered several bags of suspected illegal narcotics and narcotics paraphernalia and arrested a woman after a brief physical struggle. The deputy also issued a summons for charges including possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.

3 p.m. A deputy served an active warrant to a male inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 739 E. Driscoll St.

5:55 p.m. A woman in the 28300 block of K.2 was issued an active warrant. She was arrested and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Friday, Oct. 4

3:35 p.m. A deputy issued an active warrant to a male inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

9:11 p.m. A deputy issued an active warrant to a male inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Saturday, Oct. 5

11:59 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 27100 block of County Road T after a male jogger reported that a dog bit him. The deputy located the dog’s owner and ordered the dog quarantined.

Sunday, Oct. 6

11 p.m. A deputy issued an active warrant to a male inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Monday, Oct. 7

3:38 p.m. A deputy issued an active warrant to woman at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. The woman was jailed at Montezuma County Detention Center.

Tuesday, Oct. 8

1:47 p.m. A deputy issued an active warrant to a female inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

1:48 p.m. A deputy issued an active warrant to a male inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

2:53 p.m. A deputy issued a warrant at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. The woman was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.
