The Community Foundation will host a three-hour nonprofit staff training workshop from 9 am. to noon Wednesday and a breakfast roundtable from 8 to 9 a.m. Oct. 23 at First National Bank, 2258 E. Main St.
Topics to be covered include board recruitment and retention, on-boarding and orientation, retreats and evaluation. All staff who register will have a second opportunity, at no cost, to meet for an informal Q&A session with the trainers to ask questions and learn from peers who are tackling similar challenges. Participants will also have access to a Google Drive of articles and samples.
