Mancos residents have their final opportunity next week to share their thoughts about the update of th Land Use Code.
The town has been in the process of updating its code, a set of rules that regulates property development by establishing town districts, setting standards for lot and building features and sizing and determining how to best landscape areas throughout town.
The purpose of the update is to modernize outdated standards and appropriately guide future development. Consultants SAFEbuilt are assisting the town of Mancos in managing the project.
The meeting will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, in the Mancos Town Hall.
