The Journal

Chris Calwell, of Ecos Research, will discuss the challenges and choices in an era of abundant and cheap renewables in a Green Business Roundtable presentation on Wednesday, Jan. 10 at the Henry Strater Theater, 699 Main Ave., in Durango.

Calwell has nearly three decades of experience in the energy industry. He leads research into the energy technologies, policies and market strategies most likely to reverse climate change. Focusing on transformative changes to how and why we use energy, he seeks opportunities to break our reliance on fossil fuels through zero net energy buildings, renewable energy sources, efficient plug loads, and electric transportation options.
