Wednesday, Nov 7

6:41 a.m.: A vehicle towing a van trailer proceeded through a flashing yellow light at the intersection of S. Broadway and W. Main Street. A vehicle traveling westbound had a green light and collided with the other vehicle.

9:14 a.m.: Two vehicles collided in the Keesee Motor Company parking lot at 111 S. Broadway. As the incident occurred on private property, both vehicles were insured and there was minimal damage there was no citation.

11:18 a.m.: An officer responded to a Mesa Elementary School, at 703 W. Seventh St., to a report of a pit bull in the school. School administrators had the dog confined in an office. The officer transported the dog to the Cortez Animal Shelter, at 2791 E. Main St. The owner was cited for dog running at large and no city license.

5:22 p.m.: A woman was arrested on a warrant on the 100 block of E. Downey St.

10:56 p.m.: A woman at the Montezuma County Detention Center, at 730 E. Driscoll St., was arrested on a warrant.

Thursday, Nov. 8

5:03 a.m.: A white Toyota sedan on the 200 block of W. Seventh St. was stopped for a non-operational left brake light. The driver was arrested on a warrant.

8:06 a.m.: A woman was arrested on the 20 block of N. Beech St. for assaulting a man and for drinking alcohol, which violated the terms of a mandatory restraining order and pre-trial bond conditions.

8:26 a.m.: A woman at the Montezuma County Detention Center, at 730 E. Driscoll St., was arrested on a warrant.

10:44 a.m.: The driver of a red SUV with Utah plates was arrested on a warrant, driving without a license, driving an uninsured vehicle and expired license plates at Walmart, at 1835 E. Main St.

10:41 p.m.: A woman was arrested for DUI alcohol and for turning left in front of approaching traffic after causing a minor traffic accident on the 500 block of E. Main St.
