Flames engulf Sheila Monahan’s 2000 Dodge pickup Monday in the northbound lane on Camino del Rio near Ninth Street. “I had just left the dog park and was turning onto Camino and my truck made a pop sound and it quit running,” Monahan said. “I had no brakes, so I pulled over and saw smoke coming out from under the hood. I grabbed my dog and got out.”
