Fort Lewis College to host uranium mining presentation

“Digital Humanities Project: Four Corners Uranium Mining,” a presentation by Peter Soland, will be given at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, in the Lyceum Room at the Fort Lewis College Center of Southwest Studies.

Soland will discuss the creation of a new digital museum exhibit that explores the social and environmental impact of uranium mining on the Four Corners.

The digital aspect of the exhibit illustrates how the center can reach out to members of the public who are unable to physically attend exhibits.

The lecture is free and open to all.
