All veterans in Cortez, Mancos, Dolores and Montezuma County, heads up! CBS News reported March 5 that the Trump administration will cut 80,000 federal jobs from the Veterans Affairs. Jobs butcher Elon Musk likely will purge these jobs with no idea of their role in supporting veterans. His careless, indiscriminate work has hurt Americans in many ways.
We can protest this outrageous disregard of veterans who honorably served America. As a former U.S. Air Force staff sergeant (1968-1972), I will not tolerate this attempt by “Comrade” Donald Trump to harm veterans' welfare, so here are ways we can defend each other.
