St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and Grace’s Kitchen are setting the table for their 16th annual community Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday.
The meal begins at the church about 11:30 a.m., but volunteers also will deliver meals to the homes of people who have signed up. Last year, more than 300 people had a dinner, and the Rev. Leigh Waggoner of St. Barnabas said she expects a similar crowd this year.
The church is still accepting donations and volunteers. Most of the food has been purchased, and the 25 turkeys are being prepared, but every little bit helps pay for the feast.
