Jesse Lasater, Southwest Region Nonlethal Mitigation Specialist, Colorado Department of Agriculture to speak on innovative nonlethal wolf mitigation techniques.
Jon Hare, Advocacy Director, High Country Conservation Advocates to speak about community engagement, planning, and collaboration relating to mining proposals in Gunnison County.

An Ordinance amending the Code of the City of Cortez, Colorado, to impose a temporary moratorium on the submission, acceptance, processing, and approval of applications for licenses or permits for natural medicine healing centers, cultivation facilities, product manufacturing, testing facilities, and any other related license or permit involving natural medicine, which includes, without limitation, psilocybin or psilocin.

Ordinance No. 1332, Series 2025, was approved at a public hearing and second reading on February 25, 2025. A complete copy of the ordinance is available for public inspection and acquisition in the office of the City Clerk at City Hall, 123 Roger Smith Avenue, Cortez.

VACANCY ON THE DOLORES PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT KNOWN, that notice is hereby given of four vacancies on the Planning and Zoning Commission.
These vacant positions will be 2 seats for 2-year terms
One term will begin in April of 2025 and the other will begin in May of 2025
The terms will expire in 2027.
The eligible applicant shall be appointed by the Town Board of Trustees.
Applicants must have been a resident of Dolores corporate limits for 30 days before the date of appointment and be at least 18 years of age.

Applicants can submit a one-page letter of interest to the Dolores Town Board of Trustees c/o Town of Dolores, P.O. Box 630, Dolores, Colorado, electronically to tammy@townofdolores.com or drop off at 601 Central Avenue, Dolores, Colorado.
