12:34 p.m. A deputy took a report for a stolen license plate from a woman at the 25695 Road M in Cortez.

3 p.m. A deputy arrested a man on a warrant who was remanded by the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

5:02 p.m. A deputy arrested a man who was remanded by the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

Wednesday, Oct. 23

9:06 a.m. A deputy arrested a man on warrants who was remanded by the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. The warrants were for controlled substance possession, drug paraphernalia possession and trespassing.

Friday, Oct. 25

1:57 p.m. A deputy took a report and investigated a missing-person report from a woman who received text messages from her missing nephew, who was found at 21862 County Road G, Cortez.

Saturday, Oct. 26

3:56 a.m. A deputy took a report for a vehicle accident at 27460 County Road T. 5 in Dolores. The deputy’s report states when he arrived on the scene, a red Ford pickup truck was on its side and the driver’s legs were sticking out of the vehicle. The driver did not want first responders to respond because he was previously a firefighter and knew what to check for. The deputy said in the report he saw six clues of intoxication while observing the man’s eyes.

5:42 p.m. An officer cited a woman with criminal mischief and second-degree criminal trespass in the 12000 block of County Road 38, in Mancos after she allegedly entered her sister’s locked room in the home they both own but do not live in.

Sunday, Oct. 27

3:38 a.m. An officer arrested a man on suspicion of driving a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more and failure to maintain lane in the 11000 block of County Road 25, in Cortez.
