In addition to football season and election season, it soon will be open season for Medicare, and we’ll be bombarded with ads for Medicare Advantage from private insurance companies.
If you or someone you know is nearing Medicare enrollment age, a panel of the hospital CEO, local physicians and a local insurance agent can help you decide if Medicare or Medicare Advantage is best.
Sponsored by the League of Women Voters, the hospital system, KSJD, Nintezuma County libraries and Friends of the Hospital, the program will be held at the County Annex in Cortez on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 10:15 am. The choice you make for Medicare enrollment will affect your health care for the rest of your life.
