While there is excitement about the candidacy of Kamala Harris, Democrats and independent voters in Southwest Colorado need to remember the must-win 3rd Congressional race. Adam Frisch is running for that seat and he will need everyone’s help to win.
His opponent, Jeff Hurd, calls himself a moderate but if he’s elected he will be supporting all the MAGA positions that are aimed at: taking away women’s health care choices; continuing to deny global warming; robbing people of voting rights; turning the presidency into a dictatorship; destroying public lands; sanctioning water and air pollution; providing huge tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy – to name just a few of MAGA’s radical agenda items outlined in the GOP’s Project 2025.
Western Colorado needs a representative like Frisch who knows the importance of being willing to work across the aisle in Congress. Frisch knows the importance of our public lands, the importance of allowing women to make their own health care choices, the importance of education, the importance of the nuances of the western Colorado economy and the importance of cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
I especially urge unaffiliated voters to consider the consequences of MAGA retaining control of the U.S. House of Representatives. We need to dump the obstructionists – which Hurd will join – like Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Green, Matt Gaetz and Chip Roy.
It’s time to get stuff done in Washington. Support Adam Frisch for Colorado’s 3rd!
