The Cortez Parks and Recreation Department plans two brief park dedication ceremonies on Friday, June 7.
The first ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. at 372 S. Market St., and the second ceremony is to be held shortly after at 601 E. Third St. at 6 p.m.
According to a news release, the city invites residents to explore the new 2,500-square-foot playgrounds, connect with neighbors and enjoy light refreshments.
