For the second consecutive season, the Montezuma Titans are headed to the Four Corners Young American Football League Super Bowl.

Last year, the Titans sent fourth and fifth grade teams to the championship game.

And this year, the fifth grade team – consisting of players from Cortez and Dolores – is returning.

Coached by Jarrod Wyatt and assistants Josiah Forkner and Keve Goodall, the Titans finished the regular season with a 6-1 record against teams from Aztec, Bayfield, Bloomfield, Durango, Farmington and Kirtland.

After two consecutive playoff wins, the Titans have a chance to avenge their only loss on the season against the Aztec Tigers in the Super Bowl on Saturday at 3 p.m. in Aztec.
